Stutzman's Annual
 Berry Festival

Sid and Rainie Stutzman invite the public to their 3rd Annual Berry Festival at their Farm on the Douty Hill Road in Sangerville. The festivities begin on July 21st at 5:00 PM with a cook out featuring Stutzman's famous home baked beans , salads,breads from their bakery, and barbequed burgers and hotdogs with beverage. For dessert they will have their own strawberry and raspberry short cakes.

  At 7:00 PM the music begins with Zevulon, a family bluegrass band featuring, Clarissa 19 on guitar, Rachel 17 on fiddle, Robert 15 on banjo, Joshua 13 on mandolin and mother Deb on Bass. Next up is the Doughty HIll Band featuring Sid,Tracy and Sunny Stutzman with new member Brian Smith on guitar and bass. The music ranges from blues to bluegrass and promises to be a night to remember.The price for this event is $12. for adults $6 for under 12 years old. The proceeds for this event  will go to help needy senior citizens to join the Maine Senior Farmshare program at Stutzman's Farm Stand. The Maine Senior Farmshare program gives qualifying seniors $50.worth of free vegetables and fruits to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. The program has more than 400 seniors participating in Piscataquis county and has yet to meet the need of the many more who qualify. Tickets are available at Stutzman's Farmstand daily between 9:00 And 5:00 call 564-8596 for reservations.
