Mossflower
Farm produces raw honey and beeswax products, organic apples, and
limited organic produce. Our farmstand features raw
bottled honey, comb honey, organically produced apples and produce,
including squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, and potatoes. Our
farm has been in the family for three generations, and
has lovely views, whether it’s apple blossom time or colorful
autumn
when the surrounding hills are ablaze.
The Mossflower Farm Stand is open Saturdays and Sundays in September and most of October for honey and produce. For hive products, as well as honey, find us at the following November and December fairs:
November--East Sangerville Grange (first weekend), SeDoMoCha (weekend before Thanksgiving), John Bapst High School (last weekend).
December—Procrastinators’ (UUChurch, Sangerville). Our products are also available at Olmsted’s Orchard in Charleston, Bob’s Farm and Garden Store, and Pixie’s, both in Dover-Foxcroft. Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.
DIRECTIONS: From the north, we’re located on the left at the top of Lewis Hill, 4.1 miles south on rte. 23 from the four corners in Sangerville. From the south, go 6.5 miles from the traffic light in Dexter. Be sure to take Rt.23 North just past the Shop and Save! We’re on the right at the top of the hill. Look for the signs!
