The Bees

The Mossflower Farm Apiary presently has 20 hives, which produce clover & wildflower, raspberry, and goldenrod honeys. As a small operation, production of all honey and hive products is carefully done in small batches. By equally careful selection of honey from fellow producers, Mossflower is usually able to offer a year-long supply of quality product for even early spring/summer refills, beyond what the 20 hives can support.

*Raw honey is available in bottles, comb, and limited bulk.

*Beeswax-based skin care products:
        Lip balm with vit. E & peppermint
        Handcreams with lanolin (very popular for cracked, dry hands)
        or with almond oil.
        Moisturizer bar with cocoa butter (moisture in a take-along rollup             form)
        Honey soap (fall only)

*Other:
         5 frame nucs of bees to start your own hive (spring only).
         Pollination services for single crop or summer-long.
