Dairy Goats

The Mapleshade Dairy Goat herd began with three un-registered Nubian goats which has now expanded into two separate herds of Alpine, Saanen and Oberhasli goats including 15 milkers, 4 bucks and numerous young breeding stock. The milk produced by our goats is used for drinking, yogurt and fudge. We also make an assortment of cheeses from the milk which include soft Chevre, Ricotta, and Fresh Press Farmer’s Cheese, all of which are available at the farm year round.
