Our Feathered Friends
& Furry Companions

Whether you have just dropped in to pick out some fresh produce from the farm store, or have come to wander our orchard in search of that perfect first tart taste of fall; no visit is complete without stopping to visit our animal friends.

Our six South Down Baby Doll Sheep are always up for a visit, especially if it involves their favorite treat- Animal Crackers! Annabell and crew spend their days frolicking in the sheep pasture and enjoying the sunshine. Every April the local sheep shearer comes around and each one of our sheep gets their Spring hair cut. Wool is then cleaned and stored and is available for sale in the grease for spinning.

Guarding humans and animals alike here on the farm are our three laborador retrievers. Elwood is a six year old Chocolate lab who is father to a couple local litters as well as one born to Blossom here on the farm. Blossom is three years old and enjoys spending her days on the cool porch when she and her chocolate friend, two year old Tootsie are not playing welcoming committee to everyone who drops by for a visit!

Last but not least are our feathered friends the Chickens and geese. Everyone has a job here on the farm and theirs is two fold. They not only lay eggs, but they also control our population of insects!
